Corporate Development Intern


In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Corporate Development to support the Private Equity practice with underlying research. The main tasks will be to (1) substantiate the argumentation for private equity investments in emerging markets and (2) build a database of the potential future investment universe.


Key tasks

§  Familiarize yourself with leading research sources regarding private equity in emerging markets

§  Conduct thorough market research for the two above outlined tasks, i.e.: collect, process, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data

§  Document the research and summarize key findings

§  Support the Corporate Development and the PE teams with ad-hoc tasks


Required skills and experience

§  Completed Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field, and currently pursuing or planning to pursue a Master’s degree from an internationally recognized university

§  Ideally, previous work experience in an economics research, consulting or asset management firm

§  Advanced research and analytical skills

§  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office  

§  Proficiency in English is a must, any other languages  is an advantage
