Private Equity Investment Manager

 

In this position, you will lead the company’s origination and execution of private equity transactions in Africa and take a leading role in strengthening our private equity practice. Based in Zurich, Switzerland or Nairobi, Kenya; you will work closely with BlueOrchard’s investment teams around the globe.

 

Key tasks

§  Origination of private equity transactions in Africa;

§  Execution of transactions, including structuring and negotiation with external counterparties;

§  Coordination of post-deal monitoring, reporting and value creation;

§  Relationship management and active engagement of the portfolio companies.

 

Required skills and experience

§  At least 8 years of relevant work experience and proven private equity deal track record;

§  Board experience and experience in financial institutions, especially insurance, a plus;

§  Existing network and knowledge of African markets, a plus;

§  Graduate from a leading university or Business School; 

§  Fluent in English, French a plus.

§  Comfortable coordinating and managing internal and external stakeholders under pressure;
